About
the Artist:
Kendra
Kendra Ott is primarily a self-taught artist and a native Pennsylvanian.
She sketches in pencil, willow
sticks and charcoal; paints in oils and
gouache; and sculpts in stone and molds in a few
mediums.
Kendra's renderings are gentle and graceful. She
likes to capture peaceful scenes that can be hung in
any environment.
Her whimsical sketches bring
the imagination of a child to life.
The Christmas Elves that she has created all begin
with the face of a child. (Whimsical
portraits)
Her Children's Color Portraits
are an interesting
style of capturing the character of
children. Each child's face is rendered two times
on the same paper. For girls, one
face is done in pink-tones the other in purples.
For boys, one face is done in blue-
tones the other in greens.
Kendra is also the curator for this website and for
her gallery in Pennsylvania. Desktop publishing and
graphic designs also fill her time. |

About
the Artist:
Mark Ed
Mark Ed is a native Pennsylvania artist who has
sold his work to galleries and
numerous collectors throughout the country. His
paintings and sculptures carry an
energy and passion through the various materials
he uses. His bright colors and
stylized form is reminiscent of the fauves and
expressionists of the early 20th century.
Mark continues to produce art while
demonstrating old principles and new ideas to
his
students. His love for the arts is expressed in
his paintings and sculptures which
include themes of music, dance and theatre. He
also loves animals and the special
language they bring--particularly the Great
Dane.
Mark works in different sizes ranging from
miniature paintings and small sculptures to
life size works and murals. His “out of the
ordinary” style and avant-garde compositions
are indicative of his signature and add a
variety to any art collection.
